The hydro cooling dome is a pavilion-like structure created to cool users within the structure using passive cooling hydrogels.

The Hydro Cooling Dome was created to provide spectators, in warm climates, with a cool place to sit while enjoying sporting events. Hydro cooling domes will be installed at select outdoor, public parks and will be used on a first come, first served basis.

“The Shagger” is a machine designed to recover soccer balls and return them to the user. This allows the user to continue practicing without stopping to collect the balls. 

The inspiration for this project was to find a way to shag a ball without doing it yourself. The shagger is aimed at helping soccer players improve during shooting practices. The players are given the opportunity to practice without having to shag every time they miss. The shagger has a hollow body that can store multiple soccer balls that are directed into the body by grippers on the front. There are no ball shagging machines for soccer, but other sports such as golf and tennis do have shagging machines. After the user shoots a ball, the shagger will collect it and return the ball to them.

 Every day people experience high-stress levels in places like roads, work, and school. These areas of high stress can cause people to experience depression, lack of sleep, and anxiety. Emotional Lamp is a collection of moveable orbs that ease emotional distress via light therapy. With a variety of different orbs that each release a different frequency of light it can easily provide comfort to most situations. 

Taking inspiration from a light therapy box that helps to relieve seasonal affective disorder Emotional lamp uses multiple different frequencies to combat emotional distress. Such as orange being used to improve your mood and green being used for staying calm and relaxed. It allows for a portable component that makes the lamp more effective in reducing stress in those high-stress areas by allowing for the relief of the lamp during those circumstances. The vision is that the Emotional Lamp can help make these high-stress areas a lot safer and comfortable for the people that use them.

The Foldable Bed: a bed that is set on a timer to fold up making the user get out of bed and work. If this project is successful, the users will be more productive and start their days off without sleeping in.

The inspiration for this project was to make a bed that would help users become more successful, efficient, and something that would be useful to the everyday person. The basic technology behind the design is that it is a bed with a built-in timer that, when set off, folds on the top half of the bed making the user get out of bed. After the user gets out of bed, the top half folds back down and the bottom half raises revealing a workspace. The innovation behind this project is the use of a folding bed that also serves as a desk for the user. The bed depends on the user's physical interaction with the bed by setting the timer, sleeping on the bed, and using the workspace. This project was made for a wider audience and will hopefully be useful furniture for many, engaging the users in healthy lifestyles.

The vibrant lamp is a design exploration that seeks to illuminate homes with living systems, rather than through traditional energy means. It uses bioluminescence to create a sculptural glow at night.

Since COVID-19 Pandemic struck the community hard, people have lost jobs, lost houses, and lost a lot of things. It triggered a thought of a cheap, sustainable way of light. Bioluminescence came to mind. An astounding alternate to when there is no power. Welcome the Vibrant Lamp!

It comes in a rectangular shape. The 4 long sides of the lamp will have glass panes to show the light. COVID has taken a toll on many people, and the vibrant lamp could make a drastic difference in this. It saves electricity, and has a long life!

This project is the Vibrant Lamp. The Vibrant Lamp is a lamp that creates light with bioluminescence. Since the pandemic has struck the world hard, I just wanted to innovate on a sustainable way to produce light during these times.
